Outside OpportunitiesDetailsSponsoring Agency: Biomedical Research Summer InternshipCategory: Research Fellowship/Scholarship Description: The NIH Summer Internship program in Biomedical Research is intended to provide students an opportunity to participate in state-of-the-art research in the intramural laboratories of the National Institutes of Health. In this program, students work side-by-side with some of the leading scientists and researchers in the world. In addition to the laboratory experience, participants also have an opportunity to attend a summer seminar series where senior NIH investigators discuss the latest developments in biomedical research. For graduate students with less than 1 year of study, the monthly salary is $1,400, with 1 year, $1,600, with 2 years, $1,800, with 3 or more years, $2,000. Sponsored by the National Institutes of Health/NIH. The goal of the program is to expose students to research procedures in an unique environment devoted exclusively to biomedical research and training.
