Sponsoring Agency: Summer Research Fellowship in Vascular Surgery - Harvard Medical School

Description: Four student fellowships are available to provide medical students with an initial exposure to vascular surgery research for 10-12 weeks in the summer for training in molecular and cell biology, biomechanics, coagulation and thrombosis, and angiogenesis, with a focus on clinical relevant problems. Students will carry out their research projects under the guidance of faculty advisor, selected from vascular researchers based at four Harvard Medical School Hospitals. Selection is based on candidates' demonstrated ability. Applicants should be medical students who have completed at least one year of study. Interested applicants are encouraged to submit a letter of interest, CV and three letters of recommendation. Support of $4,500 stipend will be provided for the summer.
