Description: Funded by the Scaife Family Foundation Medical Scholars Track. Fifteen scholarships are awarded to medical students interested in obtaining specialized medical traning in alcohol and drug abuse treatment at the NIADA. $395 scholarship covers tuition and on-campus room and board, plus a $200 stipend to defray travel and incidental expenses. Preference given to applicants interested in practicing medicine in rural communities.
