Directory of Published Proceedings The Directory of Published Proceedings (DoPP) is a directory of conferences, congresses, meetings and symposia. DIRLINE - Directory of Health Organizations DIRLINE (Directory of Information Resources Online) is the National Library of Medicine's online database containing location and descriptive information about organizations, research resources, projects, and databases concerned with health and biomedicine. It includes over 8,000 records in many categories, including federal, state, and local government agencies; information and referral centers; professional societies; self-help groups and voluntary associations; academic and research institutions and their programs; information systems and research facilities. Foundation Directory Online Produced by the Foundation Center, the Foundation Directory Online Professional includes extensive data on funding opportunities. The searchable directory presents detailed information on more than 76,000 foundations, corporate giving programs, and grant making public charities as well as 350,000 grants awarded by foundations in the United States. FREIDA Online A service of the American Medical Association, FRIEDA Online (Fellowship and Residency Electronic Interactive Database Access) provides information on approximately 8,200 graduate medical education programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, as well as over 200 combined specialty programs. Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia The Funk & Wagnalls New Encyclopedia is a multidisciplinary encyclopedia that offers more than 25,000 articles on a wide variety of topics. This source provides full text for all articles, and it's content is updated annually. Gale's Ready Reference Shelf Gale's Ready Reference Shelf is a searchable database containing more than 355,000 directory listings for associations, research centers, publishers, publications (ranging from newspapers and newsletters to periodicals and directories), databases, television and radio stations, and more. GeneTests GeneTests provides current, authoritative information on genetic testing and its use in diagnosis, management, and genetic counseling. It offers searchable directories of laboratories providing molecular genetic testing, and of clinics providing genetic evaluation and genetic counseling. It also offers GeneReviews, a database of peer reviewed, disease specific articles focused on the application of molecular genetic testing in patient care. MedInfoNow MedInfoNow is a database of 100,000 in-print books and software in the health sciences. Each title is reviewed and rated by medical experts. ProQuest Dissertations & Theses ProQuest Dissertations & Theses indexes doctoral dissertations in all disciplines which were completed at accredited North American colleges and universities, and some foreign universities. This database includes abstracts only for dissertations completed since 1980, and can be searched by author, discipline, subject keywords, and institution. RefWorks - (RefWorks Guide) RefWorks is a web-based bibliographic management service similar to EndNote (but no software is required). Who's Who on the Web Marquis Who's Who on the Web is a searchable online database featuring comprehensive profiles on over 1 million of the most accomplished individuals from all fields of endeavor including government, business, science & technology, the arts, entertainment, and sports. WorldCat WorldCat contains all the records cataloged by OCLC member libraries, offering millions of bibliographic records. It includes records representing over 400 languages.
