Additional exam material can be found at www.mssm.edu/research/resources/institutional-biosafety-program/overview/guidelines under "Biological Safety Training".

Once you are confident that you know the material you will go to the "CLICK HERE TO PROCEED" button and enter your last name and life number (password) in the appropriate boxes. Answer all of the questions to the best of your knowledge…there is one correct answer for each question.

If you pass you will be notified that you passed the exam. If not, you can retake the exam up to two more times that day. After three attempts, you will be locked out for a 24 hour period. There is no limit to the number of times you can take the test.

You have unlimited time to complete the examination from the time you access the examination. If you leave and do not return to the test within 30 minutes, i.e. refresh the screen ( hit "Enter" key ) you will be locked out and have to retake the test.

Your passing the test is proof that you have read the materials and understand the Biosafety Principles requisite for your work. The test should be taken annually to document continued compliance with OSHA training requirements in Bloodborne Pathogens and the BBP Exposure Control Plan.
