Dr. Peter Heeger of The Mount Sinai School of Medicine is seeking an MD, PhD or MD PhD postdoctoral fellow to perform research in the immunobiology/medicine of transplantation. The successful applicant will become part of a multidisciplinary NIH funded training program in laboratory based investigation. The applicant will have the opportunity to work under the mentorship of one of ~20 NIH funded basic scientists or translational scientists at Mount Sinai to study experimental questions related to transplantation. Work can be performed in animal models and or with samples obtained from humans. The laboratory work will be accompanied by didactic seminars, lectures and coursework. US citizenship or permanent residence status is required. The position will be available in early September, 2009. Mount Sinai is an equal opportunity employer
